Course Objectives

The objectives of the course are to enable participants to:

• • Understand the concepts of sex and gender, and sex and gender roles;
• • Understand the different forms of GBV;
• • Understand the impact of GBV and the link with gender equality;
• • Explore the link between GBV and economic development; and
• • Understand the legislations and policies around gender.
